I have no idea when Irene became so friendly. She kept trying to eat my hand – maybe she was expecting some animal crackers. But even then, she used to snatch them and run.
Apparently I happened to show up just in time to catch everyone napping.
Buttercup was too quick for me though.
I love my sheepies. But somehow our Jersey ladies are so much more photogenic.
The freezing rain we’ve been having is really messing with our ewes’ do’s. Oh heck, have two Pictures of the Day.
Irene, tres chic!
Tomorrow 4+ lbs (about all that remains at this point) of Steve’s raw wool will be shipping out to a fiber-friend in Indiana. A portion of it will return to me, all ready to spin. Fiber trades are great – a win-win situation!
Clearing out more of 2016’s fleece makes me think of all the exciting things coming up in the next few months: shearing day and new lambs!
Mama’s got a brand new phone, complete with camera. So, in hopes of learning how to use this newfangled contraption, I’m planning to post a picture each day. Enjoy!
So this is technically yesterday, but I’ve got to start somewhere, right?
