Why do I want Snowhaven Beef?
We believe in wholesome food, good service, and an active relationship with our clients. Part of that commitment to good service is handling communication with the processor for you, and delivery directly to you is available. We are able to provide both grain-finished and 100% grassfed/grass-finished beef, housed separately – BOTH are hormone and antibiotic free!

How much beef am I buying?
- 1/4 Beef: 180 lbs average (110-225 lbs)
- 1/2 Beef: 360 lbs average (220-450 lbs)
- Whole Beef: 720 lbs average (440-900 lbs)
We are also licensed to sell frozen beef by the cut (including ground beef) direct from our farm – get in touch for more information about cut availability and prices per pound!
What cuts can I get?
You decide the particulars regarding how much is ground, the thickness of your steaks, roasts, ribs, patties, etc. Soup bones, cow tongue and organ meats are also available We will document your preferences and deliver them to the processor when the steer is dropped off at the processor. The meat can be paper wrapped or vacuum sealed and all of it is frozen.
How much does it cost?
Grass-finished Beef: $3.75/lb hanging weight + processing (.75/lb)
Grain-finished: $3.50/lb hanging weight + processing (.75/lb)
Deposit: 1/4 Beef = $250; 1/2 Beef = $450; Full Beef = $900 (Deposit is required to reserve your 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef.)
How do I get it when it's ready?
With most smaller orders, beef will be delivered directly to you within 50 miles of the farm or processor. With larger orders, farther distances are included with delivery. If you’re not sure you’re in our delivery area, please ask – chances are we can work something out.
Balance is due at time of delivery.
